Craving some dim sum, I arrived at this restaurant five minutes after they opened to order some food for take out. There were already 3 groups of people seated, indicating that this might be a popular place. I honestly didn't think I'd find such a delicious, authentic Chinese restaurant in Jacksonsville.
The waiter was also the cashier - he was very sweet and quickly took my order and informed me that it would be a 15 minute wait as the food is fresh and coming out very soon!
15 minutes later, I received my order: shrimp dumpling, pork shrimp dumpling, shrimp noodle roll, stuffed eggplant with shrimp, and deep fried shrimp ball. As promised, everything was fresh and delicious. Because my order was takeout, a very sweet lady generously packed me an extra bag of condiments (soy sauce, hot oil, sriracha) and plastic utensils.
My friend and I ate in silence as we enjoyed our tasty, salty, savory meals. Without a doubt, we will be back for the delicious food and excellent service. -

I'm always on the hunt for dim sum so I was pleasantly surprised to find this in Riverside near my work. Overall the food is fairly good and the service is fast and friendly. The selection is traditional and you should take advantage of the lunch special - $6.95 for certain dishes and you get a good amount of food, plus a side bowl of rice.
SALT & PEPPER TOFU
This was the highlight of the meal! Perfectly fried tofu that was lightly crisp on the outside, and once you bit into it, the soft tofu flavor burst in your mouth, similar to a soup dumpling.
SALT & PEPPER SQUID
Delicious as well and also lightly friend. It had a lot of flavor on its own without having to add any sauce, though they serve it with red chilli sauce. It's a bit on the salty side but I like that.
BOBA MILK TEA
The flavor of the tea was good, a little too sweet so if you're sensitive to that, try asking if they can lessen the sweetener. The boba unfortunately was mushy. But you do get a large glass of it.
SHUMAI
Plump in size and soft but a little bland.
MIXED VEGETABLES
Pretty standard but also a touch bland.
I'm down to come back to try their other dim sum. -

I decided to try S&R Dim Sum on a random Friday night. The food was nice. I tried the veggie dumplings, chicken lo mein, and the lotus paste sesame balls. The food was hot and tasty. The portions were a good size. I had enough to take home for later.
I really enjoyed the veggie dumplings the most. The lotus paste sesame balls had a sweet paste I believe made of beans. It had a very unique taste. I was given three, but one was enough for a try.
If you're interested in trying some unique dishes, I would recommend this place especially if you're in to dumplings. -

Great place for dim sum, favorite options for me were deep fried shrimp ball, rice noodle roll, shrimp spinach dumplings, lotus paste sesame ball.
Other options that were average tasting were Sui Mei and the Pork Steam Soup (the pork was not tasty and a bit chewy). Fast friendly service. Prices ok. Dim sum takes 5-10min to come out. -

This is a reasonable dim sum restaurant with a la carte menu. However, the dim sum options are less than a traditional dim sum restaurant, and some of the dishes are okay but not amazing, primarily the soup dumplings . I would recommend siu mei pork dumplings, fried shrimp balls, and sesame lotus paste balls. The sesame lotus balls were hot, crunchy on outside with a gooey interior. The service is decent.
